What can be viewed with the telescope?
Anything visible in the night sky. Do NOT look at the sun through a telescope. The moon is an excellent place to start. The visibilities of planets in our solar system change from season to season. Instructions for finding these objects come with the telescope when checked out.
How powerful is the telescope?
The telescope can magnify up to 75x with the included eyepieces. This is powerful enough to see Saturn’s rings.
Do I need anything else to use the telescope?
The telescope comes with everything you need to have an observing session. The only thing you will need is a table or platform for the telescope to rest at a comfortable height.
Can the telescope take pictures?
The telescope itself is not equipped to take pictures, but you can take a photograph with a smartphone through the telescope eyepiece.
